Returns and delivery issues

What if my order doesn't arrive?

Most of our small orders are sent by Royal Mail with the service depending on your selection at checkout.

Very small items, such as tide times booklets and Dinky maps with free shipping are sent by RM48 service, which isn’t tracked.  Whilst the target for this is 3 days in most parts of the country, it may take longer.  If you have had a shipment confirmation email and haven’t received your item within 2 weeks please get in touch and we will usually ship a replacement or offer a refund.

Most larger books are sent by RM Tracked 24 or 48 service.  You will usually receive an email when the item is shipped with a tracking number.  You can check progress on the Royal Mail website or, if you are concerned, contact us and we will investigate.

Large packages, over 2kg, are usually sent by courier, fully tracked.  Please get in touch if it hasn’t arrived within a few days.

What if my items are damaged or faulty, or something's missing?

Please get in touch via our contact form, or by replying to your order confirmation email.  If possible attach a photograph.  We will usually send a replacement or offer a refund.

Can I return my item for a refund?

Of course.  We are happy to accept returns within 28 days of delivery.  Please contact us for a return authorisation and send the book back to our address below, using the original or equivalent packaging.  Provided it is in good condition when we receive it, we will refund the cost of the item but not any postage charge.  You are responsible for return postage.
