This title in the ‘Town and Village History’ series provides a concise history of the development of the town from its earliest recorded history as the town of Guella, through to the calling of the last of the seagoing traders at the end of the 20th century and its new life as both holiday destination, marina and harbour for the North Sea wind farm industry.
