Wroxham: The Capital of The Broads

Wroxham is known as “The Capital of the Broads” where day trippers for over a century have picked up their hire boats for holidays on the Norfolk Broads. This booklet explains how the Broads holiday was started by John Loynes and, how Arnold Roy established Roys of Wroxham (which is really in the adjoining village of Hoveton) “The World’s Largest Village Store” to service those that came by train first, then car, to holiday on the Broads.
